BACKGROUND
Ever since the industrial revolution, the destruction of nature made by human beings has expanded rapidly as wealth increased. The development of human society is always accompanied by the groan of the earth’s pain. For various private interests, human have made excessive demands from nature, which also leads to a lot of damage and disasters. Human beings only blindly plunder all kinds of resources from nature, unwilling to maintain the life cycle process of nature, which leads to the unbearable burden of nature. The earth expresses her anger to human in various forms. Virus is one of them.

Case Study
Coronavirus has caused great harm to human beings. The most common symptom is that it can cause the damage of lung function, respiratory failure, or even lead to death. But people often forget to wear masks and ignore the importance of timely disinfection. In the final analysis, these are due to the limited public outreach of the perils of coronavirus.

DESIGN OPPORTUNITY
How might we design an interactive game that is based on virus propaganda?
Through a series of interesting interactive experiments in the game to remind people of
paying attention to the harm of the virus and self-protection.
DESIGN RESEARCH
There have been several very powerful viruses in history. If people can pay enough attention to that, and guard against in time at the early stage of proliferation, the harm in the society will be greatly reduced.

RESEARCH
Usually the publicity of virus protection is by means of media report, leaflet and TV broadcast. Video game is a new channel but can also play a certain role. People of different ages favor different means of publicity. For young people who are familliar with new media, they may pursue a different and novel means of publicity.
Propaganda Analysis

Video game is a novel and interactive way to convey the information regarding virus, explain the variety of health problems caused by it, help to arouse the public's degree of attention, and foster people's awareness of protection.
PERSONA
In order to have a holistic understanding of the needs of users, interviews reagarding the focus parts on video games of the younger generation are conduted to determine Persona.
Although there is enough information in the existing knowledge publicity, the expression forms make young people feel less interested. Traditional propaganda methods are boring and time-consuming, which leads to low participation and relatively difficult to understand and remember. The young people prefer the game filled with graphic motions. Interactive games are both interesting and playable, and the content and meaning conveyed can also be displayed more clearly and intuitively.

IDEATION
A microscope-looking 3-D model equipment. All the interaction regarding simulation about various viruses when they occur and how to actively respond to them takes palce there. Meanwhile, the animation effects generated by the interaction will be presented on the computer in the form of processing and arduino output. Microscopes are often used in medical researches. Fabricate a model like this gives people a sense of being in the real world, as if they were really doing serious scientific research. Let people have more sense of substitution, and can they better understand and remember the knowledge of viruses.

Detect Viruses
1. Push the button to start the game.
Approximate the RFID card to the reader, viruses show automatically on the screen.
Look at the view of viruses in the microscope (distance sensor).




Kill Viruses
2. Approximate mask near the photoresister to attack Covid-19 virus (blue).
Put lighter near light sensor to attack Ebola virus (green).
Sprinkle disinfectant to water level sensor to attack Sars virus (orange).
